Objective of the Game

Text Racing is a high-speed challenge where the goal is to input the correct characters in the right sequence faster than your competitors. Utilize the provided textpad, textboard, or textstick (in-game keyboard) to achieve victory.

Types of Races

  • Sprint: Input a random string of characters as swiftly as possible using the provided textpad.
  • Trivia: Unscramble the answer to a question displayed in a scrambled format using the provided keypad.

How to Enter a Race

You can enter a race in two ways:

  • FREE: Watch an advertisement, answer questions, or receive free races on special occasions.
  • PAID: Load funds onto your virtual THT game card (like Dave and Buster’s), then choose races within your budget based on available Val-U coins.

Winners

  • Races are timed, requiring correct character input within the allotted time.
  • If the game timer expires with no winner at the finish line, the participant with the most correct characters wins.
  • In races with multiple winners, positions are determined by crossing the finish line or entering the most correct characters.
Everyone Wins: Regardless of race outcome, participants receive credits that accumulate for prize claims.

Text Races are based on how quickly a competitor is able to move their digital vehicle from the starting line to finish line. The individual racers that cross the finish line in the Top 10 are able to win immediate cash prizes.
Text Racing is more than simply hitting keys on a keyboard quickly, Text Racing also requires skill and attention to detail to know which keys are the right keys to touch at the correct moment and at the correct time.
A Text Racing contest can be very short or very long depending on the subject matter and length of each track allowing for each Race to vary. This works in the favor of the racers allowing a diverse array of Text Racers from all walks of life to compete and have an increased opportunity to win against different competitors.
